Mission Statement

Pure Light Yoga School is dedicated to the provision of quality Yoga Teacher Training courses. We endeavour to present dogma-free teacher training, in a compassionate and nurturing environment. We aim to impart the skills necessary for best practice in Yoga teaching. Using current research and methods, we will provide students with a broad skill set in and the tools for the practical application of Yoga philosophy, asana, pranayama and relaxation.

You will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a regular yoga practice with a qualified yoga teacher
  • A teacher’s reference
  • A record of all yoga classes and workshops attended in the last 2 years
  • A statement of why you want to be a yoga teacher
  • A list of yoga books you have read (at least 3)

Course Requirements

All applicants must have been practising yoga for a minimum of 2 years and be Yoga Alliance members before commencement of the course. 90% course attendance is required for certification.  On acceptance, you will need to join Yoga Alliance UK as a trainee and also have a valid First Aid certificate.
