Mission Statement

Be True Yoga School is dedicated to the provision of quality Yoga Teacher Training courses. We endeavour to present dogma-free teacher training, in a compassionate and nurturing environment. We aim to impart the skills necessary for best practice in Yoga teaching. Using current research and methods, we will provide students with a broad skill set in and the tools for the practical application of Yoga philosophy, asana, pranayama and relaxation.

Accreditation

200-hour Yoga Alliance UK accredited course.

​Our training school has met the stringent requirements set by Yoga Alliance UK, demonstrating that our courses are of the highest standard. Our graduates can apply to use the title ‘Registered Yoga Teacher’ RYT as a sign of quality training when they register themselves with Yoga Alliance UK.

Prerequisites

You will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a regular yoga practice with a qualified yoga teacher
  • A teacher’s reference
  • A record of all yoga classes and workshops attended in the last 2 years
  • A statement of why you want to be a yoga teacher
  • A list of yoga books you have read (at least 3)

Course Requirements

All applicants must have been practising yoga for a minimum of 2 years and be Yoga Alliance members before commencement of the course. 90% course attendance is required for certification.  On acceptance, you will need to join Yoga Alliance UK as a trainee and also have a valid First Aid certificate.
